Cat Critch

Cat Critch is a Perth-born singer/songwriter whose six-decade career has moved through jug-band folk, 80s synthpop, jazz, and blues. She cut her teeth with the Rosewater jug band Duck Soup in the mid-1970s, then formed the synthpop duo Plan 8 with Phill Colville in the 1980s — their single “Undecided in Love” was released as an EMI Radio Mix in 1986. She went solo through the 1990s and 2000s, and continues to record and perform today, including the in-progress Dave Brewer Sessions. Her channel carries live cuts spanning the whole arc — from a 1976 Rosewater recording of “Billie’s Blues” to “Ball & Chain” from Scratch & Dent.
